Mefera started with a simple frustration: the best products are already being sold on our phones, in stories, on lives, in DMs, but buying them is a mess of screenshots, transfers, and crossed fingers. Great sellers lose customers to clunky checkouts. Buyers lose money to deals that never arrive.
So we’re building something better: a shopping feed you actually enjoy, where every product is real, every seller is accountable, and every order is protected.
On Mefera, you scroll a full-screen feed of products from independent sellers, tap to add anything to your cart, ask our AI to find exactly what you’re picturing, and watch sellers go live to sell in real time. You pay safely: we hold your money in escrow and only release it to the seller once your order arrives.
We’re starting in Lagos, because that’s home and because Nigeria’s sellers are some of the most creative in the world. But the idea travels: wherever people shop on their phones, Mefera can be the place they do it with confidence.
